On the roadmapMost free online calculators are traps. They front-load a scary headline number, make you create an account to see the rest, or hide the actual math behind a $49 "premium" upsell. Every tool on this page does the opposite: you enter your numbers, you see all the numbers, you leave. No email capture, no retargeting, no premium unlock.
We built them because we were tired of not having them ourselves. When we wrote the meal prep guide and needed a quick way for readers to cost their own plan, nothing online did the job without selling them a meal kit. When the budget guide needed a 50/30/20 split calculator, the best options required logging in with Facebook. So we wrote our own, kept them simple, and made them public.
The tools are funded by our paid guides — that's why we can give them away. If a calculator helps you, you're welcome to ignore the rest of the site entirely. If you want the deeper system (full meal prep templates, month-by-month budget worksheets, 30-day workout calendars), the guides are there when you're ready.
Everything here is methodology-transparent. Each calculator shows exactly what formula it uses, where the numbers come from, and what it doesn't account for. No black boxes. No "trust us, it's accurate." Read the methodology, disagree with it if you want, and use the tool anyway — it'll still get you a useful estimate in 30 seconds.
Calculators give you a number. Guides show you what to do with it. If a tool lit up something you want to actually change, these are the long-form walk-throughs.
